i really love this song. In fact, i love it so much that i am like blasting it everywhere i go, no matter whether it is the toilet or the bus(even when passengers give me strange looks when they see me lip synching). However, the thing about this song that makes it so wonderful is that it is heartfelt, and that the male lead sings it with conviction. It gives a true portrayal of the problems that one may face in love, and that struggles and friction is unavoidable, but, no matter what happens, one cannot forget the love that they had for each other, because they will bring them back together. Love involves giving and sacrifice, and thus, that is why keeping the love alive is very important, and yes, indeed, talk is cheap, so we must never be afraid of expressing what we think. okay... no more comments, so i gotta go...

~ On our way to a medal!`
Wow, i am really impressed by Tao li's performance at the Beijing olympics! She got fourth amongst the top 8 during the qualifying heats! Hip hip hurrays for her! Anyway, yesterday, i went out to play table tennis with my uncle, guoliang and my cousins, yanyi, jinyi and nicholas. We played for like 3 hours but we only booked the place for 2 hours. In the end, we had to pay the surcharge. On the way home, i played with his psp. Played juiced2 but i sorta caused him his game because i wrecked his car... noob...
seriously, my life is a boring one and one of my favourite pastimes is down loading songs from sogou.com. Now, i have 23 songs(woohoo) and still looking to download more.

This has got to be one of the most versatile songs i have ever seen. it has three verses and it occupies a lot of space. Anyway, this song has demonstrated the theme of love very well, and it speaks of love as being a drug, it creates rebels and creates "highness" in people. Very appropriate. indeed, love creates extreme happiness for those immersed in it and yes, i have seen many people in love that are oblivious to others. Although one bone of contention would be that it is similar to Rihanna's Umbrella in the chorus. Well, although that is true, i feel that it is negligable as long as it contributes to the uniqueness of the song. Well, to be honest, it sounds fantastic if you play it using surround sound. Anyway, this song is 2nd on the american billboard top 100, and Chris Brown is an established singer. Many of the songs that he has come out with have been well received. In fact, he is so good that Jordin Sparks of American Idol has featured him in her chart topping hit "No Air", which i will introduce tomorrow! okay, bye for now, as i end this relatively short post.

~ Greatness`
yay, before i say anything, i just want to say that today is not the tomorrow i indicated in my first post. it is the day after the tomorrow i indicated in my first post. Am i making sense? i hope i do. In english, it is saturday and not friday.
Anyway, i was so tired yesterday, i ran in the crosscountry. Running at a speed that was 2 times my normal speed during the last 0.8 metres. In case the other runners did not notice, there were markings on the floor, that showed how many kilometers you ran if you did simple calculations. Got stiches halfway. Well, can't blame anyone since i only ran exactly 3.2km during my training sessions. My uncle told me i have to run at least 2 times the distance during training to keep up the speed ypu are running at during the cross country. Btw, i koped my auntie's adizero running shoes without telling her, because my fila's were in a detestable state and the soles were too thin. if they were too thin, the runner would experience severe stiches and because i am flatfooted, the pain at my soles is exacerbated. haiz. the competition this year was greater and i am shocked that someone stole my sixth position just 2 metres away from the finishing line. Really surprised. i heard her footsteps but i just ran like nobody's business. Did not help at all, but she showed a lot of grit and determination and so, she deserved this position. To be honest, my stiches were killing me and i screamed thrice during the run to get rid of the pain. But my classmates cheered me on while they were carrying the banner. Felt energized after that.
Anyway, the most important mention here would be the fact that 3 runners from my class(including me).But the credit goes to yueying and brenda, who won the 3rd and 5th position placing respectively,they really excelled and to be honest, i never really catched up with them(indeed, basketballers are different) . Okay,i admit, i made it in last year,but i was the tenth position and i improved to the seventh position. felt great.But the good news does not end here,for the boys 4.8 km run,the boys were really excellent Yan lun and Tsz Hin got the 4th and 5th position ranking respectively.Not only did they improve, they overcame many adversities during the way, including yanlun's sudden asthma constrictions and strangely, an anxious lorry driver that was making strange handsigns. Yes, you know what i mean.So,as a result, the girls got first for the team event, with special thanks to iylia(she is really fit)and the boys got 3rd for the team event.
Anyway, after that, i went out with Tze yeng, her phone was spoilt, i hope it gets fixed soon. We went to ichiban sushi and i treated her to a meal, then she treated me to ice cream at Gelare. Well, one of the highlights was that we went to Spotlight and played with feathered scarfs, we played with the halloween outfits and i was surprised to hear that some schools celebrate halloween! wow! Just looked around, entered Dorothy Perkins store and they had some great outfits. However, at the Aldo store, the attendant stared at us like we are very poor like that. Really pissed. We basically window shopped till her friends arrived, then i left. Great day.
At night, the XXIX Beijing Olympics opening ceremony. It was a visual treat and i felt really proud to be a chinese. throughout the ceremony, we could see that there was a pervading theme, and that was "reaching into our past to find the present". Spectacular, reminded me of my roots. I seriously don't understand why people are so against China, the Tibetan riots and the Dalai lama issue may have resulted in serious riots, but after all, how can we forget our roots?
okay, okay, enough crapping. let me fulfil what i wanted to do on Thursday.

i really like this song as it speaks of struggles of people and the eventual winners are the people who know how to block all of this out and instead find their own place. i can relate to this song and thus, it is one of my favourite songs. in fact, many people may have found theirselves in this situation before, as Natasha rose to stardom after this song. it has a really optimistic tune and and it speaks of triumph against your sorrows, so, after that, i was really moved by the way it mixed a rendition of a classic linkin park style scream( to rescue her) and the repititive lyrics had a really hypnotic effect. it drills into you the message she is getting across and thus, i feel really happy after listening to this song. it has a complete structure of a problem and a truimph(?) really classic. i love it. i feel that the themes of release and escape really resonate here and thus, it should inspire those who feel down to beat their sorrows and emerge victorious. it takes more than other people to bring such a person down.

XD well, to be honest, i set up this blog because i forgot whether i even have one. Yeah, i used to have one, but it's dead. So anyway, i officially start blogging today. Well. i am slacking but, i really feel the need to do this. I know it is rather strange to start a blog post with an apology, but this is necessary.
Well, me and my rashness. It's too late for me to change anything, and to be honest, i'm getting colder day by day. Perhaps i would be six feet in the ground by the time i graduate. I look back and think, i am really twisted, and even now, i get more and more desperate day by day, and i am dying day by day. Well, so one day, if i don't go to school, check in the orbituaries, i will be there. We used to be close, i tried to turn it around, but apparently, you don't see it, you don't feel it and so, i feel that it is a lost cause. Not blaming anyone here, just lamenting. It is okay if you don't feel anything, i won't react. Think it in a negative light all you want, i won't react. Just be sure to note that i wish you the best, and you are the light in my life.

i feel that it is really meaningful, as i remember hearing the song on the movie of ARMAGEDDON. It is a sci fi film that shows a group of scientists/astronauts
trying to blow up a meteor on a crash course into Earth. It makes me feel sad when i remember seeing them die in the course of duty. Well, i will never forget what the song is trying to teach me, about always remembering that true love stays in the heart and that it transcends all borders, from dreams to death. Well, we would never forget that feeling of love, the feeling of true happiness and yes, without all these, a person would just be an empty soul.
